Do you want to exchange data between IT and OT? But how do I verify that these files are secure? We will answer precisely this question in our webinar "FortiSandbox as a data gateway between IT and OT". In addition, we will give you a brief overview of the functions and areas of application of the FortiSandbox so that you can get an idea of how flexibly the FortiSandbox can be used.
Why do I need a sandbox at all?
The number of attacks is increasing and so is the use of zero-day exploits and malware. Traditional methods such as virus scanners cannot fully protect against zero-day malware, which is why innovative solutions are needed. The FortiSandbox is the ideal extension for protection against zero-day malware, as it does not rely on signature-based detection like virus scanners, but instead checks the behavior of the file.
But how does a sandbox work?
A sandbox executes the suspected malicious code in one or more virtual computers and can thus determine exactly what actions are carried out by this software and how these are to be evaluated. After the sandbox evaluates the file, the file can be allowed or rejected.
Why the FortiSandbox?
The FortiSandbox can be combined with various Fortinet products and can therefore, for example, check your mail attachments or your USB sticks inserted in the local computer before they can be accessed. In addition to the numerous functions, the FortiSandbox offers easy integration into the existing Fortinet infrastructure thanks to the Security Fabric. In this webinar, we will answer these and other questions in a dialog and show you how the FortiSandbox detects and deals with malware.
