Islam GEKHAEV

My name is Islam, I am 22 years old and I graduated from the Technologisches Gewerbemuseum (TGM) with a degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering. After graduating, I was initially undecided whether I wanted to work in the IT sector at all, as I wasn't sure which field of work I saw myself in in the future. For this reason, I opted for the Jumper program. The special thing about this program is the opportunity to gain an insight into the various departments and get to know different areas. The best thing about it is that the experience in the different areas has given me a clear idea of the direction I would like to take in my professional development.

Elias TRETTENBREIN

After graduating from the HTL, I was ready to put my theoretical knowledge into practice and gain practical experience. However, I was still unsure which area I wanted to immerse myself in, and I didn't have a clear idea of what activities would await me in the various areas. As an HTL jumper at CANCOM Austria, I particularly like the fact that I can not only get to know the technical aspects of the company, but also all the steps that are necessary for an idea to become a productive system or service.

Lukas FUSSTHALER

Deciding on a career straight after school was quite overwhelming for me. I had no idea what to expect and still had to make a decision that would influence my entire professional life. But I thought the idea of trying out different departments as part of the JumpIN program and still having a standardized employment contract was pretty cool. Apart from the high degree of flexibility, you always have a contact person and mentor outside your assigned department. It's a completely new way of starting a career in my circle of acquaintances and at the moment I couldn't imagine anything better.
