Would you like to dive straight into practical work after completing your HTL/HTBLA with an IT focus? Then jump right in - into the JumpIN program at CANCOM Austria!
Do you enjoy working independently, are you a team player, interested in the future topics of digitalization and automation and have perhaps already gained some experience in internships and projects? But you don't yet know exactly which area is right for you? Then JumpIN is the perfect place to start your career.
JumpIN offers you the opportunity to become part of CANCOM Austria right after graduation by getting to know different areas, being part of different teams in 2 years and receiving many training opportunities for professional and personal development during the program.
Your "jump" through the departments
You can work in the following specialist areas during your program to get to know them, understand the connections between them and develop cross-team solutions for your customers.
- System Integration: IT architects, designers and system engineers take care of our customers throughout Austria on a daily basis by providing customer-oriented consulting, perfect implementation and efficient servicing of state-of-the-art ICT solutions.
- Managed Services: We offer deep insights into the service world of the ICT environment and the exciting topics of the entire range of technologies. Accompany our customers from the initial contact, through transition and transformation to the ongoing operational management phase.
- Digital Makers: Together, we face the challenges of digital transformation at our customers and bundle our profound development know-how in focused and agile teams. We are structured into Competence Centers, which work together with our Sales department on the go-to-market strategy, and Engineering Centers, which are responsible for the efficient development of a solution.
- PMPC - Project Management & Procurement:
- Project management: As the organizational link between CANCOM Austria and the customer, the project manager takes over all necessary organizational activities to implement a project, from order acquisition to order fulfillment.
- Strategic purchasing: Negotiating purchasing conditions and partnership agreements are the most important activities of purchasing, in addition to securing procurement opportunities.
- Commercial management and project support: The timely completion of a wide range of tasks of varying complexity makes the project support employee the important backbone of fast, efficient and professional order fulfillment.
Training on the job
You will be assigned to a "team leader" in each department, with whom you will define the training content and objectives. This will ensure that you gain a broad insight into the relevant areas right from the start.
You will always have a team colleague from the department at your disposal as a "buddy" who will support you in your daily work and provide you with valuable input for your activities.
Training and further education throughout the JumpIN program
In order to provide you with the best possible support on your path and to promote your personal development, further training opportunities are planned during the 2 years. These could be workshops on conflict management, presentation techniques or diversity training, for example.
What does your future look like after the JumpIN program?
After 2 years, you will be part of a team that you have already gotten to know better during JumpIN. You will have your own area of responsibility within the team and can help shape the future with your knowledge and expertise.
